Wait 'til next year is here!

It's nice that Lou wanted to save Big Z for game 4 but what happens when/if the Cubbies get swept? If Sunday never happens, how much does Sweet Lou get bombarded with the "how can you pull Zambrano" questions? How does that affect the team for next year? Well, let us hope for Lou's sake that the Cubs take this series and his decision to pull Big Z becomes a non-factor.

There was some really nice hitting displays by Soriano, Jones, & Lee last night. Your stud pitcher leads off with a double and you leave him there. What was that? Three K's in a row. You guys are good. Big Z never saw the light of third base thanks to some terrible at bats but at least he cooled down with the breeze and pitched effectively for the next three innings.

Nice managing Lou. TheRiot gets on second with a base hit and error but Big Z doesn't bunt to move him over. I guess I could understand since the Cubs pitchers couldn't bunt if their lives depended on it.

On the other hand, Webb did pitch a great game and the young D'Backs are hungry and playing hard.

The Cubs better come back tonight looking for blood.

My advice for Game 2 to Lilly: When you get a run in the top of the inning try not to give up the gopher ball in the bottom of the inning. And for God's sake man, learn how to BUNT!

The USC Trojans are looking better than I expected. BOOTY! BOOTY! BOOTY! and company are doing well. I am very impressed with O'Dowd's play at center. The freshman is putting to rest my fears of what happens next year when Sanchez or Mustain take over the reigns at QB.

I am really looking forward to ND. I hope Mr. Clausen sees what kind of line he could have protecting him. Best of luck Jimmy boy.

Speaking of ND. Let's fire Weis the same way they treated Ty. Ty got the shaft because Bob Davie's ass couldn't recruit a corn stalk from central Illinois and Ty took the blame.

Speaking of Ty, good luck containing Stanley, Fred, and company this weekend.

Too bad the Trojans were terrible in the early '90s when I lived in Southern California. It would be nice to be a part of all this winning.

How much does it suck to be Arthur Blank right now? You've got a new coach looking to turn the Falcons O around and you won't have your starting QB because he might be in prison eating dog food. I doubt Vick will do jail time (anyone seen OJ's jail time and he killed people not dogs).

Blank let Schaub walk. Possibly the best back up besides Sorgi in Indy or Cassell in NE. How's that feeling right now Mr. Blank? To steal a line from Pulp Fiction: "That's Pride fucking with you." I hope you enjoy the upcoming season with Joey H.

Now I move onto my Bears. I hope that Lance Briggs breaks a leg or arm on the first play this season and doesn't get any future contracts. I thought the NFL was supposed to provide us with tough guys. This guy cries more than a school girl that got her pigtails pulled. I can not believe this guy is crying about getting a $7,000,000 contract to play a game. I hope everyone that watches the Bears this season boo's his ass. I hope all the wannabe NFL convicts enjoy their suspensions this year. Too bad Selig couldn't carry Goodell's nail clippings and put some harsh standards on MLB Teams and Players. I can not wait until Selig is out of baseball. What has he brought to the game other than some crappy "Because this time it matters" All-Star Game. Whoopidy-Do!
